Cowen Landscapes recently took on an exciting project in Maidstone, Kent. The task was to design and build a sunken seating area that would beautifully complement the property's extension.

Located in the outskirts of Maidstone, we carefully crafted a brick surround for the patio using the house's existing bricks. This ensured a seamless transition between the house and the outdoor space.

For the raised border, we chose a charming prairie-style planting scheme with soft pink, blue, and white flowers, along with ornamental grasses for year-round interest.

To add visual appeal, we installed intersecting circular porcelain patios according to the client's specifications. These patios became elegant focal points in the sunken seating area, creating a harmonious flow.

In the sunny part of the garden, we added a curved oak pergola on reclaimed sandstone paving. This inviting space became the perfect spot for entertaining and relaxing with family and friends.
