A complete refresh for a garden in Bearsted – we’ve replaced a tired, uneven patio and worn fencing with a brand-new sandstone terrace and strong, stylish timber fencing. The transformation has created a clean, modern outdoor space that’s ready to be enjoyed year-round.
The Project
This Bearsted garden was ready for a major update. The existing brick-paved patio had seen better days – uneven in places and showing years of wear – and the old fencing offered little privacy or visual appeal.
Our team began by removing all existing materials and preparing the groundworks, ensuring a stable, long-lasting foundation for the new features. Once the base was in place, we installed high-quality closeboard fencing panels, providing both privacy and a neat, modern look.
For the new patio, we chose a Raj Green Indian Sandstone, a natural stone that perfectly complements the warm tones of the property’s brickwork. Each slab was laid by hand with precision, creating a smooth, level surface ideal for outdoor dining and entertaining.

– Full excavation and sub-base installation
– Fitting of new pressure-treated fencing with secure posts and ironmongery
– Hand-laid sandstone paving with a durable jointing compound
– Clean finishing touches for a sharp, professional result
The Result
The finished space feels brighter, larger, and far more inviting. The combination of the natural stone patio and clean timber fencing adds both structure and style to the area, while ensuring it remains low maintenance.
